Matol Catechin Drink* contains the following beneficial ingredients:

Goji Berry - is nutritionally rich, containing beta-carotene, Vitamins C, B1, B2 and other vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and amino acids.

Noni - supports your immune system, delivers superior antioxidants, increases energy, is cholesterol-friendly, and allows for greater physical performance levels.

Acacia Catechu - has been used to treat high cholesterol, diabetes, cancer, gingivitis, stomatitis (mouth sores), pharyngitis, and indigestion.

Black currant - has a very high content of antioxidants and vitamins particularly in Vitamin C. Black currants also contain several rare nutrients, like GLA (Gamma Linoleic Acid, a very rare Omega-6 essential fatty acid) and MAOI (Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors), and may therefore be used in therapies against depression.

Concord Grape - one cup of 100% Concord grape juice contains 75% of the potassium of a banana. As with other natural fruit products, Concord grape juice contains a variety of naturally occurring vitamins and minerals. Recent research on phytochemicals has focused on flavonoids contained in Concord and other purple grape juice. Research regarding the health benefits of grapes and grape products is ongoing.

Cherries - contain powerful antioxidant compounds called anthocyanins that studies suggest may reduce risk factors for heart disease. Recent research conducted by the University of Michigan found that a cherry-rich diet signifi cantly lowered blood cholesterol levels and reduced triglycerides, major risk factors for heart disease.

Rhodiola - is thought to strengthen the nervous system, fight depression, enhance immunity, elevate the capacity for exercise, enhance memory, aid weight reduction, increase sexual function and improve energy levels. It has long been known as a potent adaptogen. Adaptogens are natural plant substances that increase the body’s non-specific resistance and normalize the functions of the body.

Blackberry - contains many antioxidants, such as anthocyanin pigments, responsible for the purplish-black color of blackberries and may impart health benefits because of their antioxidant properties. Additional antioxidants in blackberries are vitamins C and E, and ellagic acid; all may provide protection against cancer and chronic disease.

Cranberry - the active ingredients in cranberry include chemical compounds called proanthocyanidins. Proanthocyanidins are potent antioxidants that appear to be able to decrease bacterial adherence to the bladder epithelium cells. The main benefit of this action is that bacteria have less likelihood of grouping together to cause bladder infection, urinary tract infections and other related conditions.

Raspberry - as an antioxidant food containing ellagic acid, helps prevent unwanted damage to cell membranes and other structures in the body by neutralizing free radicals. Raspberry’s fl avonoid content is also well documented. Here the key substances are quercetin, kaempferol, and the cyanidinbased molecules called cyanidin-3-glucosylrutinoside and cyanidin-3-rutinoside. These fl avonoid molecules are also classifi ed as anthocyanins, and they belong to the group of substances that give raspberries their rich red color. Raspberries’ anthocyanins also give these berries unique antioxidant properties, as well as some antimicrobial ones, including the ability to prevent overgrowth of certain bacteria and fungi in the body.

Bilberry - has antioxidant properties. It is used to promote eye health and strengthen blood vessels, and it is thought to protect the heart as well.

Mangosteen - is high in carbohydrates, fiber and iron. It provides many benefits that help improve the immune system and blood circulation, strengthen the body’s ability to fight disease and infection due to its powerful antioxidants and healthy nutrients. Recent research studies suggest that it is helpful in preventing and stopping diseases such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease and other chronic diseases.

Açaí - is a rich source of anthocyanins and other phenolics and phyto-nutrients. Açaí berries are rich in B vitamins, minerals, fiber, protein and omega-3 fatty acids. Açaí also contains oleic acid (omega-9), a beneficial fatty acid.

Resveratrol - inhibits blood platelet aggregation that can lead to dangerous clots that can cause heart attacks and strokes. Resveratrol is a powerful antioxidant that can help prevent cell damage caused by free radicals. It has also been proven to fight cancer.

Pomegranate - has substances, such as polyphenols, that have antioxidant, anti-viral, and anti-tumor activity. Pomegranate may also be helpful in maintaining healthy cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and a recent study indicates pomegranate has compounds that play a role in

osteoarthritis and prostate health.

Blueberry - is packed with antioxidant phytonutrients called anthocyanidins, blueberries neutralize free radical damage to the collagen matrix of cells and tissues that can lead to cataracts, glaucoma, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, peptic ulcers, heart disease and cancer.

White Tea - a 1984 study at Pace University revealed that white tea extract may help slow viruses and bacterialgrowth, thus reducing the incidence of staphylococcus and streptococcus infections, pneumonia, fungus growth, and even dental plaque. Findings from another study conducted at the Skin Study Center at University Hospitals of Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University reveal indicators that white tea helps skin cells by boosting immune systems when exposed to harmful sun rays.

Catechins - are natural plant derivatives and potent bioflavonoids, found in high concentrations in Acacia catechu, green and white tea leaves, grape skins and seeds, fruits and cumin. As extremely potent anti-oxidants, modern scientists now rigorously research catechins worldwide. Historically, preparations of Catechin-rich plants were used in health and beauty products. Catechins have currently become the focal point of advanced studies with recent inventions of technologies for isolating and stabilizing their tremendous powers.
